COMMITED !

The Hotel Les Loges du Parc*** is a family-run establishment that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1929. Each passing of the torch is an opportunity to reevaluate, with a view to continuous improvement, in response to new demands and in accordance with environmental constraints.

Located in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park in Gérardmer, it invites you to come and discover the natural treasures of the “green lung” of eastern France in all seasons: endless forests, lakes, peat bogs, ridges, and valleys, iconic landscapes that make the massif a major site for hiking, wildlife observation, and outdoor sports.

A themed hotel

We have always been committed to animal welfare and environmental protection, and today we want to share our commitment, encourage encounters with wildlife, and offer you unique experiences to discover the wild world.

In our green setting, we are expanding our territories in collaboration with some of the biggest names in wildlife photography:

  • Vincent Munier: the Wolf, Lynx, and upcoming indoor pool rooms
  • Adrien Favre: the Fox Floor
  • Teddy Bracard and Fabrice Cahez: the Badger rooms
  • Coming soon Laurent Ballesta: the Wellness Area
  • And many more: the Bear Floor and the Wolf Lodge.

By 2029, we hope to be able to bring you closer to the wild, inviting your five senses to explore throughout the hotel and across the mountains.

Because “Wonder is the first step towards respect” (N. Hulot).

Our financial support for committed associations

For several years now, we have been donating 2% of our pre-tax revenue to highly active associations. Our commitment to these associations gives meaning to our work.

  • ASPAS (Association for the Protection of Wild Animals) is a highly effective independent association. It participates in the rewilding of territories through Wildlife Reserves. Thanks to its numerous legal actions and its determination to change attitudes, it has played a major role this year in removing certain species from the list of “pests” (ESOD): foxes, martens, weasels, crows, and jays.
  • La Tanière Zoo Refuge: created in 2015 by a couple of enthusiasts, Patrick and Francine Violas, the zoo refuge takes in and cares for hundreds of animals rescued from the hell of circuses, unsanitary farms, laboratories, or even illegal captivity. It offers them a peaceful existence at La Tanière or in other facilities that share its values and ethics.
  • The Brigitte Bardot Foundation: named after its famous founder, it has been working internationally for nearly 40 years in nearly 80 countries to defend and support animal rights. It runs extensive, often “shocking” and effective awareness campaigns, particularly against abandonment, bullfighting, intensive farming, fur, force-feeding, animal testing, hunting with hounds, etc. It is involved in numerous field actions, legal actions, and sterilization operations. It is a key player in animal protection.

By staying at Les Loges du Parc, you are contributing in some small way to the work of these three organizations. And there’s nothing stopping you from supporting them more directly 😊

We are also committed to working with the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) and Oiseaux Nature to preserve our green environment, where life flourishes so well.

Eco-labeled Clef Verte since 2025.

Clef Verte (or Green Key) is the first international sustainable tourism label for tourist accommodations and restaurants, present on all 5 continents.

The label obtained this year validates the high environmental values that we have upheld for a very long time and which are embedded in our DNA.

To obtain it, we met almost all of the 120 eligible criteria, which cover:

  • Water management
  • Energy management
  • Waste management
  • Greening of car parks and terraces
  • Raising customer awareness of our immediate environment and eco-friendly practices
  • Staff training in eco-friendly practices and moderation
  • Social and salary welfare
  • Promoting our actions and commitments to our customers and suppliers
  • Highlighting local players who share our values

Staying at our Clef Verte-certified hotel means endorsing our environmental commitments, our sustainable consumption and short supply chain initiatives, and our respect for our mountain range.

A pet-friendly hotel

Because we love them dearly and you can’t do without them, we have always been happy to welcome your pets for a peaceful vacation. They are allowed throughout the hotel, including in the breakfast room and around the pool… but not in the pool itself 😉

Starting in December 2025, a fee of €6 per day per animal will be charged, which will be donated in full to the SPA des Vosges animal shelter in Brouvelieures. This initiative further reinforces our commitment to respecting animal life, and we are confident that you will approve!

“We don’t have two hearts, one for animals and one for humans. We either have one heart or we don’t.” Alphonse de Lamartine.

During the day, by the pool or near our fireplace, our 100% organic bar menu is sure to win you over: fruit juices, nectars, smoothies, and original iced teas, all produced by Maison Meneau.

A commitment that continues to grow!

Every day, we are increasingly motivated to imagine and develop a refuge where the concepts of preservation, consideration, kindness, and humility are essential. A lively, eco-friendly meeting place where you can settle down, take a break, and finally let go.

Open your eyes. Listen carefully. Breathe in. You are already in the Sauvage.
